Savannah’s Historic District has an enchanting soul and seamless charm. Art galleries, historic architecture, trendy boutiques, and unique restaurants are all set under a veil of Spanish moss hanging from ageless southern live oaks.  The NOGS tour encapsulated a fun Savannah experience.

The Garden Club of Savannah hosts the NOGS Tour.  For 91 years GCS’s  mission has been to assist in the beautification and environmental preservation of Savannah, exemplified by our year-round work to maintain three significant gardens in our area.  Our non-profit has awarded over  $350,000 to local affiliated organizations, over the past seventeen  years. We are the oldest active garden club in the state of Georgia. Our history is directly related to the heart of what makes Savannah an outstanding place to live and visit.

We encourage past and new visitors to come to our beautiful City and enjoy our extraordinary Tour and many other charming features.  For more information, please refer to our website, Facebook and Instagram accounts.

In 2018 the GCS will award its first beautification award, to an individual for leadership and extraordinary contribution to beautification and gardening education in the Savannah area.  The esteemed award recipient will be announced on

February 12, 2018.  The award ceremony will occur on March 19, 2018.
